Equipotentiality / Nerve Regeneration

Roger W. Sperry’s Published Works on Equipotentiality and Nerve Regeneration

Equipotentiality  refers to the capacity of functioning parts of the brain to compensate for parts of the brain that were damaged or experienced loss of function. Sperry researched equipotentiality and nerve regeneration between the years 1939 and 1968.
